So, we are back from our Ampline tour. Now we can get down to going over the working mixes Mike put together before we left of the new record. So far, I love what I'm hearing. It sounds big, aggressive, yet melodic, and clear. Good, good.
Got together last night, and went over some notes T had. Trying to make sure everyone goes over every aspect of the songs with a fine tooth comb.
We just got footage of this video that an Israeli video company made last year of an Israeli skateboarder. It's kind of just an account of what his day is like, and the skateboarding/youth culture in Israel right now. Our good friend Adam Rosenfeld (Men Of Israel Records) hooked us up with the good folks at Black Sheep TV. They ended up using "New Christ Killer" as the music in the video piece. It's pretty cool. That's all that's going on now. Just a few more sessions away from signing off on the mixes, then we'll get the beast mastered. Looks like we are going to start playing again in May, with the BIG Cincypunk Fest at the Poison Room. That should be an amazing time. Lots of great bands, and it's in a slightly smaller venue, so it'll be killer.
